Main library and 23 branch libraries — a shared communication solution from the start
The client did not have an existing digital signage system. The need was clear: the city’s entire library network — the main library and all branch libraries — was to be brought under the same management system. Each library needed to be able to communicate with visitors in real time and locally.
Later, an additional need arose: solar panels were installed on the main library roof, and the client wanted to make their output visible. The idea was an infographic that would inform visitors concretely — not just in kilowatts, but for example, how long the library could be heated with the electricity generated by the solar panels.
Turnkey solution across the entire network — with solar panel integration on top
Fiscal delivered and installed display points at each of the 24 locations — hardware, software, and configurations. Users were trained on-site immediately upon deployment. Later, onboarding of new users was handled smoothly via remote connection, eliminating the need for libraries to wait for a physical visit.
We built an integration that retrieves electricity production data directly from the client’s system in real time. The data was transformed into a visual infographic according to the client’s specifications: the display shows how much electricity the panels are generating and converts the figures into everyday comparisons — for example, how long the main library could be heated with that electricity.
The visual design of the infographic was created according to the client’s preferences. The data updates automatically — no separate content management is required for the solar panel information.
